| Before your blood sample are drawn from
you, you are provided with information and your situation is
assessed on whether you require HIV Antibody test. The counselor/nurse
will usually introduce themselves to you. They would ensure
that the session is confidential. |

| The counselor/nurse will ask you several
questions on why you have decided to come for a test. They would
provide on basic information on HIV/AIDS, including modes of
transmissions, prevention methods, difference between HIV and
AIDS, treatment options and etc. |

| Therefore, it is vital that you receive
pre test counseling at the site you are deciding to undertake
the HIV Antibody Test. |
