| The Red Ribbon Gala is The
Malaysian AIDS Foundation’s biennial signature event
which was organized primarily to raise funds for
the ‘Circle of Hope’ Campaign. It has been The Malaysian
AIDS Foundation’s tradition since 1996. |

In 2006, the
event was held at the Mandarin Oriental Kuala
Lumpur. The event was graced by the patron of
the Malaysian AIDS Foundation, Yang
|

| Berbahagia Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor and
her husband, Yang Berbahagia Dato’ Seri Najib Bin Tun Razak-
the Deputy Prime Minister. The night was full with glitz and
glamour but humbled by the noble intention of all who attended.

| The Red Ribbon Gala 2006 raised more than
RM2 Million for the ‘Circle of Hope’ Campaign which supports
the Paediatric AIDS Fund, the Medicine Assistance and Business
Assistance Schemes which is under the Malaysia AIDS Foundation.

| L’Oreal Professionnel Malaysia
organized the ‘Color for Life’ Campaign to raise
funds for the Paediatric AIDS Fund through getting
all the hair-salons to participate. L’Oreal Professionnel
Malaysia donated RM2 whilst the participating salons
donated RM1 for every L’Oreal hair-color sold from
April to June of 2007. The L’Oreal Professionnel
Malaysia adopted the ‘Hairdressers of the World
against AIDS’ |

| Campaign by educating their hairdressers
about the basic knowledge of HIV/AIDS so that hairdressers will
be able to give the information to their customers. |

| The campaign ends with an exclusive colorful
gala at the Arena of Stars at Genting Highlands; the gala was
not only spectacular but also world-class in ambience and co-ordination.
L’Oreal Professionnel and its hair-salon partners raised RM100,000
for the Paediatric AIDS Fund, which will be able to support
30-HIV infected and affected Malaysian children for the next
3 years. |
