Global Fund Training of Outreach Workers 

Some 90 Outreach Workers from Sub-Recipient Organisations of the Global Fund country grant were trained on outreach, counselling and communications skills

Harm Reduction Implementation and Advocacy Seminar 

More than 180 police officers from the Narcotics and Vice Departments of the Royal Malaysia Police were trained on Harm Reduction, drug laws, and issues associated with HIV/AIDS in Malaysia.

Shelter Home Manual Review 

Managers of 16 shelters homes funded by the Ministry of Women, Family and Community Development (KPWKM) met to discuss and review the Shelter Home Manual to improve delivery of services.

 

Behaviour Change Communication Workshop 

Sixty Outreach Workers were trained on behaviour change that covered drug use, HIV/AIDS, and counselling & communications skills.

 

Behaviour Change Communication Training of Trainers Workshop 

A total of 21 select trainers received training on Multiple Approach in Training, Presentation Skills, Counselling, and Information – Education – Communication Materials & Counselling for behaviour change.
