Call for Expression of Interest (EOI) from Individual Consultants & Professional Firms to Review Financial Accounting Manual

Introduction

Malaysian AIDS Council (MAC) is an umbrella body of civil societies, known as Partner Organisations that implement HIV/AIDS projects in Malaysia. MAC is the principal recipient of HIV/AIDS grant from Ministry of Health and Global Fund. Upon receipt of the grants MAC then disburses the grant to Partner Organisations (POs) as per approved allocation.

To regulate it financial activities, MAC had developed a Financial Accounting Manual (FAM) in June 2010. Since then, seven years had passed and the management intends to update the FAM to match the current practices. In addition, MAC now receives grants from external funders such as Global Fund and Alliance International which impose stringent financial controls and procedures on grant management, therefore it is best that FAM is reviewed to include international standards and practices.

Submission of EOI

Qualified individuals who have the experience in producing corporate product and are interested to undertake this assignment are invited to fill the EOI template together (download here) with copies of credentials and submit to MAC via email, [email protected] before 15th November 2017. Submission should include at least one work sample by the individual. If published please include the website address where the report is available
