PETRONAS ICT, under the PETRONAS Group of Companies, was successfully recruited to the Malaysian Business Consortium on HIV/AIDS (MBCH) following the launch of the launch of PETRONAS HIV/AIDS Policy last year.

A series of HIV awareness and training sessions was conducted throughout September 2014 for close to 700 of its staff members based in Kuala Lumpur and Kerteh, Terengganu.

MBCH, an entity of the Malaysian AIDS Foundation, aims  to provide guidelines to corporations and other businesses on appropriate and effective ways of preventing and managing HIV at the workplace, promote HIV & AIDS education and awareness, and mobilise the private sector response to HIV & AIDS at the workplace. Among the programmes and services offered through MBCH are HIV & AIDS workplace policy development as well as education and training.
