Swiss Drug Policy is characterized by its four pillar system i.e. pillars of Prevention, erapy, Harm Reduction and Law Enforcement. Although drug consumption has not been decriminalized, Switzerland has been successful in balancing competing aims of each pillar, and this can be seen in the achievements of, et al, a great reduction in overdose deaths, reduction in HIV seroconversion rates, reduction of drug-related crime, and better overall health.
